I don’t have a problem with asexuality as a (perfectly legitimate and rrspectable) sexual orientation, my beef is with the tumblr ace activist community who constantly appropriates and co-opts shit from the lgbt community while often spewing bigoted shit in the process hthBecause the poor tumblr asexys are so oppressed by icky sexysexuals being all slutty and gross and actually attending prom with a date (nevermind that the latter’s impossible for most lgbt youth). So they need a superspeshul event all to themselves where they sit in front of their webcam eating cake and feeling special.There was a typo.

you are an idiot. someone came up with a tumblr event, so what? there’s topless tuesdays and whatever all the time. Just because I’m asexual does not mean that i’m a prude or that i’m grossed out by sex or that any of my sense of humor is associated with those groups, you are ripping on people for their sexual orientation - something that you did not decide, something that isn’t up to you. grow up, stop harassing communities that have nothing to do with you.
